A New Chapter for NuuMed

We’re pleased to share some important news about the future of NuuMed.

NuuMed is now part of the Racesafe family, a fellow British equestrian manufacturer with a long-standing reputation for quality, innovation and craftsmanship. Alongside Thermatex, another much-loved British brand, NuuMed has been brought under Racesafe's stewardship to secure its future.

For decades, NuuMed products have earned the trust of riders across a wide range of disciplines. From everyday training to competition, our saddlepads and accessories have become familiar favourites in tack rooms throughout the UK and beyond. We know how much the brand means to our customers, retailers and ambassadors, which is why we're so pleased to be able to safeguard its future and continue its proud British manufacturing heritage.

Keeping British Manufacturing at the Heart of NuuMed

One of the most important aspects of this transition is that NuuMed products will continue to be made in Great Britain.

Racesafe is currently integrating both NuuMed and Thermatex into its established UK manufacturing facility, providing the expertise, infrastructure and long-term investment needed to support the brands into the future.

To ensure a smooth transition, members of the former NuuMed and Thermatex teams are working alongside Racesafe's skilled machinists, helping to transfer specialist knowledge and maintain the quality and attention to detail that customers have come to expect.

Looking Ahead

Over the coming months, we'll be working closely with retailers and customers as we carefully bring the core NuuMed range back into production. The focus will be on returning the most popular and commercially important lines first, so riders can get back to the products they know and trust.
